Pregnancy and Childbirth

Just found out you are pregnant and do not have a family doctor? No need to worry we can help!

Here at the Primary Care Network our Nurse Practitioner will do your initial prenatal appointment. These are generally booked for 30 minutes when you are approximately 12 weeks. At your initial appointment the practitioner will listen for the babies heart beat, send you for blood work, and give you are requisition for an ultrasound. Generally after your initial prenatal appointment the Registered Nurses will then do your prenatal follow up appointments every 4-6 weeks. Once you come closer to your due date the Registered Nurse will then refer you to a delivering doctor.
