Did you know? January – Bell Lets Talk Day

Bell Let’s Talk Day is Thursday, January 28

Each year, the Bell Let’s Talk Day strives to fight the stigma around mental health issues, and supports mental health resources at the same time.

Now more than every … every action counts …

Throughout the day, Bell with donate 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, social media video view and use of their Facebook frames or Snapchat filters.

For many of us, it is difficult to talk about mental illness.  Knowing what to say or how to say it isn’t always obvious or easy.  Bell has created a Toolkit, including a Conversation Guide, which can be used to lead your own discussion about mental health or guide you in a personal conversation with someone you are concerned about.

“Mental Health involves finding a balance in all aspects of life including physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  By learning more about mental health, we can take steps to help ourselves and others improve mental health and reduce the risk and stigma of mental illness” (Canadian Mental Health Association, 2021).

If you would like to join the conversation, if you need help for yourself or are looking for tolls to help someone close to you, go to …
